English is a beautiful language with many interesting stories. I like reading stories in English very much. My favorite English story is called "The Little Red Hen".
The story is about a kind little red hen. She is very hardworking. One day, she found some seeds. She said, "Let's plant the seeds and grow some bread!" But the cat, the dog, and the mouse didn't want to help her. "I can do it by myself," said the little red hen.
The little red hen worked hard. She planted the seeds, watered them, and took care of them every day. Finally, the seeds grew into big, yellow wheat. She took the wheat to the mill and made some delicious bread. She baked a warm bread and shared it with her friends – the cat, the dog, and the mouse. They were very hungry and ate the bread happily. From then on, they knew they should help others.
I like this story very much. It tells us that we should be kind and hardworking, just like the little red hen. If we help others, others will help us too. I want to be a good friend and help my friends like the little red hen did.

Take half—if you promise to share with others."That night, Sammy's family feasted on acorn soup. "Remember," his mother said, "the best treasures are shared." The next day, Sammy and Lila helped a hungry deer family, and soon the whole forest was sharing their gifts.

She packed bread and water, then followed the last sunbeam over the hills. At the edge of the world, she found the Sun King—a glowing giant with a crown of flames, sitting on a throne of light. "Go away," he grumbled. "Everyone says I’m too hot!""But you help us!" Lila said. She told him about farmers who needed his warmth for crops, children who loved playing in his sunshine, and her sunflowers that danced because of him. The Sun King’s flames flickered softly. "Really?"
