Dear Sir or Madam,

I am Li Hua, as a student from China attending the summer English course in your school, currently in Class who would write to request help from the Learning Center as I have encountered some difficulties in my studies and hope to get your guidance.

Having a basic grasp of English grammar and communicating with classmates on simple topics, I find it hard to follow native speakers’ fast speech during listening practice. Compared with this, my writing lacks practicality, too, especially in daily scenarios.

While reading, there’s the added challenge of not being able to efficiently grasp key information within a short time, that enables my speaking speed to be too slow to keep up with discussions.
