Shopping is fun! One day, my mother took me to the supermarket. It was my first time shopping with her, and I was very excited.
When we walked into the supermarket, I saw so many things. There were colourful fruits and vegetables on the shelves. I picked up an apple and smelled it. It smelled delicious! My mother said, "Let's buy some food for dinner."
We went to the food aisle. There were many interesting snacks, like chips and cookies. I wanted to buy a chocolate bar, but my mother said, "We need to buy ingredients for dinner." So, I helped her choose some rice, fish, and vegetables.
Next, we went to the dairy section. I saw many kinds of milk and yogurt. I wanted a strawberry yogurt, but my mother gave me a plain one. She said it was healthier for me. I didn't like it very much, but I ate it anyway.
Finally, we went to the checkout counter. The shop assistant scanned all our items. We paid for the groceries with cash. I put the shopping bags on the car and felt very happy. I helped my mother with shopping, and I learned a lot.
